History
The mixed-use development replaced the Greenville Mall which was built in 1978. It originally included J. B. White and Montgomery Ward. In 1995, the mall was renovated and expanded, adding Parisian. Montgomery Ward also built a new store, with the old store being split between Oshman's and additional mall space.
The mall was redeveloped starting in the early 2000s after chain stores started leaving. Costco, Bed Bath and Beyond and Old Navy were some of the first stores in the development.
Development began to pick up speed in late 2011. Retail chain Rooms To Go located to the site. New restaurants began locating to the site, and a new strip mall was built. Construction began on the new buildings to house Toys "R" Us. In early 2013, outdoor retail chain Cabela's announced they would be opening a new store on the site. Nordstrom Rack, Dave & Buster's, and Costco are also present. An adjacent strip mall, Shoppes at Plaza Green, holds several big box stores.
