History
Four Points by Sheraton was originally proposed for development as the Golden Sands Tower. The building is designed as a 43-storey all-apartment apartment tower; began construction in 2004, with an expected completion date of 2006. Starwood Hotels & amp; The resort entered the project after construction had started, and the building was renamed Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road . The building plan was revised to provide an additional Four Points by Sheraton hotel, and a redesigned tower to load hotel and residential units, as well as helipads. However, plans for the entry of housing units were later abandoned. The building was structurally completed in early 2007 and completed entirely by the end of the year.
Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road is one of three hotels operated by Sheraton Four Points in Dubai, the other being Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Dubai and Four Points by sheraton Bur Dubai.
