This is a list of historic properties and districts in Hawaii listed on the National Register of Historic Places. More than 340 lists appear in all but one of the main islands of Hawaii (Niihau being the exception) and the Northwestern Islands, and in all five of its territories. Included are houses, schools, archaeological sites, ships, shipwrecks and various other types of lists. This property and district is listed by the island, starting from the northwestern end of the chain.

The list of National Park Services is completed through the latest list of NPSs posted June 1, 2018.

Register now by island and county

The following are approximate estimates of the current list by the islands and districts. This calculation is based on an entry in the National Register of Information Database as of April 24, 2008 and a new weekly listing posted since then on the National Register of Historic Places website, all of which mention property only by county; they are here divided by the island for easier navigation. There are frequent additions to the list and occasional delisting, and the numbers here are approximate and unofficial. New entries are added to the official Register every week. Also, the calculations in this table exclude the increase in the limit and decrease of lists that modify areas covered by existing property or districts and carry separate National Register reference numbers. The number of NRHP lists in each island is documented by the tables in each individual island list, and the number of lists in each region is determined by adding the total islands in the area. The districts of Kalawao and Maui are the only exceptions: Kalawao County is a peninsula in Molokai, which is part of Maui County.
