One Marina Boulevard , sometimes called the NTUC Center , is a 32-storey skyscraper, 110Ã, (360Ã, ft) at 1 Marina Boulevard, in the Raffles Place zone and Marina Bay, in the central business district of Singapore. The building is near other skyscrapers, such as One Raffles Quay, The Sail @ Marina Bay and the Ocean Building, all about 100 meters away. It has a direct connection to Raffles Place MRT Station via an air-conditioned underground mall.
This building is a Grade A office building, and its basement contains retail space. It sits on a plot of land of about 11,366.9 square meters. The gross floor area is 48,302 square meters. There are a total of 39,000 square meters of office space.
The site where construction was opened is the first to open for development in the new city center, Marina Bay, after the Singapore Manpower Foundation Management Service is allocated the site by the government. National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) occupies floors 11 to 14 in the building.
In 2005, One Marina Boulevard received a Certificate of Appreciation in the Best Building Design Award, under Commercial and Office Buildings Category.

Histori
One Marina Boulevard was designed by DP Architects, and was completed in 2004. Other companies involved in the development include Singapore Labor Foundation Management Services, Samsung Corporation, Beca Carter Hollings and Ferner, Hyder Consulting, Arup Singapore, Davis Langdon & Seah Singapore, Sika Services AG, Building Systems, and National Trades Union Congress. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on February 28, 2002, which officially began construction of the building.
Tender
Before One Marina Boulevard was built, the site where the sale was sold. Launched on 21 November 2000 and closed on 13 March 2001. Three days later, successful bidders, Boulevard Development Pte Ltd, Comina Investment Limited and Freyland Pte Ltd, were announced. A new company, One Marina Boulevard Pte Ltd, was established to develop a package of land.
Currently, the parcel has been leased for 99 years. The tendered price of the land package is S $ 461,816,800, or about S $ 3,125.24 per square meter.
Construction
During construction, fire techniques are used. This is the first time this method has been used in Singapore. This allows the building to be built closer to the surrounding neighbors, which shave 7 meters of solutions that meet the code standards. It also allows the glass facade to be a window-free window.
In 2004, computer simulation techniques were used to revisit the design of buildings. With this technique, more people can occupy a special floor, rather than be allowed in the original design. This also means that extra exit stairs need not be provided in case of an emergency fire.
A total of 21 months were spent building the building and cost a total of S $ 110.0 million ( ca. US $ 80.0 million in February 2008).

Architecture
One Marina Boulevard adopts an international architectural style. It is mainly made of glass and steel. The stone statues are used to decorate the main entrance. The typical floor-to-ceiling height of One Marina Boulevard is 3.0 meters, and has a loading of 4.0-7.0 kN/m 2 . The centralized VAV system is applied in its AC system.
Facilities
There are several facilities inside the building. They include meeting and training rooms, a customer service center owned by NTUC, and a 600-seat auditorium. There are a total of 209 parking spaces in the building.
Renters
NTUC occupies the largest office space on One Marina Boulevard. Other major tenants include Allen & amp; Gledhill, Singapore Workforce Development Agency, Microsoft Singapore. In October 2004, Microsoft Singapore moved from its previous office at 5 Temasek Boulevard, Suntec Tower Five to the building. Currently occupying the 22nd floor. F & amp; B, TCC, also located there. The AXS machine is located in the basement.
Public transport
One Marina Boulevard is located on one exit from Raffles Place MRT Station and is located near the Downtown MRT Station.
