Clearwater Beach includes the resort area and residential area of ​​the Gulf of Mexico in Pinellas County on the west coast of Florida. In July 2008, the long-anticipated Beach Walk project was completed, featuring a crowded pedestrian zone with upscale hotels and condominiums. This beach is also known for its nightlife.
Shephard's Beach Resort and Palm Pavilion Inn are two of the popular nightspots in the area. There are also several French restaurant locations and retail stores including Surf Style and Ron Jon Surf Shop.
The paved bike trails lined by mangrove trees are available nearby which parallel the Clearwater Memorial Causeway to the city.
Just down the road from the Beach, in the Estates Island area, is Clearwater Sea Aquarium (Winter house, bottle nose dolphins featured in Dolphin Tale film), as well as grocery stores and other facilities.
