The series sees a number of changes and the first few things that will continue in the coming series: this is the first and only series to release 'three strikes and you're out' from the discipline, all successful series has just issued an official warning. for housemates who break the rules. Big Brother 3 also started the process of evictions not limited to the nomination of housemates, on Sunday 1, the public made a nomination and housemates make the final decision about who will go, in Week 7, two housemates face expulsion just for being given video messages from home, future series also begins to experiment with eviction process. The first evictions happened a week earlier than the two previous series', rather than waiting two weeks to evict housemates, the first eviction took place just one week after housemates came in, eviction in the first week since then became commonplace in subsequent seasons.. This is the first non-celebrity series featuring Live Launch Show - although the previous celebrity series featured one. Previously, 10 housemates would enter the house on Day 1, usually with one other roommate who arrived later in the series, Big Brother 3, saw the arrival of 12 housemates on the night of the launch, two housemates left home voluntarily - this is the first time this but it has ceased to be more common over the years - both replaced by standby contestants, making it the first time to feature more than one non-native roommate, again late housekeeping friends have become more common in the next series. Big Brother 3 saw the house divided into 'Rich/Poor' for four weeks, live broadcasts aired on Saturday night will determine which side the housemates will live for a week. The Rich/Poor Family was not used until the ninth series in 2008, where its name was changed to Heaven/Hell.

House
Big Brother 3 saw the series move to a different location, such as the Newham London Borough Council ordered the complex to be returned to its natural habitat after planning permission ended in 2002 for the previous house. Big Brother House has been found at Elstree Studios, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire since Big Brother 3 and so on. This season's house features a completely different layout and looks when compared to the previous two seasons. The house features bright colors like reds and oranges for walls and furniture. This house is the first to display the stairs from the front door to the house. On the eve of the launch, host Davina McCall stated that there were many arguments over the sofa at home, and that the chosen one was the third to be placed at home. The kitchen remains simple, with only necessities such as an oven, refrigerator, and sink. In the "Daily Room", where housemates can talk privately and express their true feelings to the public, there is a more appealing look to it. The background of the room has a Big Brother logo feature of the eye in the background, with this great red season seams. Like the previous edition, there are two bedrooms this season, with Davina referring to one as "an uncomfortable bedroom." Like last season, men and women choose to sleep in separate rooms, although this is not required by the rules. Big Brother 3 saw the return of chickens in the backyard, which is also a feature used in the first two seasons. Chickens are used as sources to get eggs, so housemates do not have to buy eggs as part of their shopping list. The house also has a garden, which housemates use to grow crops and vegetables to eat. This season has a swimming pool in the backyard, making it the first season in which one is reserved. Before the season began, there were rumors that this season's rounds would see two homes become second-hand, however, Endemol insists that this is just a rumor. During the third to sixth week at home, there is a large plastic gate that separates the Poor and Kaya sides at home.
Format
Big Brother is a gameplay where a group of contestants, called housemates, live in isolation from the outside world in a specially constructed "house," which includes everyday amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, garden, two bedroom, and bathroom. The house is also a television studio with cameras and microphones in most rooms to record the activities of housemates. The only place where housemates can escape from other contestant companies is the Daily Room, where they are encouraged to voice their true feelings. Not all Daily Space recordings are broadcast due to the privacy of the contestants. Every week all the housemates nominated two of their contestants for potential eviction. Failure to do so may result in penalties, such as prize fund deductions. Two, or more, housemates with the highest number of nominees face a public vote conducted over the phone, with contestants receiving the most votes cast out of the house. The last remaining contestant at home was declared the winner and awarded a cash prize of £ 70,000. On eve eve, there were two evictions held. At first, the host Davina McCall will reveal to a housemate who has been expelled from home, although the percentage is withheld from the group. After the announcement, the expelled housemate had two hours to pack their things and prepare to leave the house. At the start of the second episode, McCall will tell the evicted housemate that they only have a few moments to get out the door. After exiting through the front door of the house, McCall led the search into a studio where they met their family and friends. While in the studio, McCall conducts interviews with roommates who are expelled, and shows off their best piece - a compilation of videos about their time at home.
During the duration of the series, Housemates was given a series of tasks by Big Brother who tested them in many ways. They are also tested by their own ideals, prejudices, and opinions against others from various life backgrounds; something that has survived the original "social experiment" of Big Brother 1 . They live in communal houses and share cooking and cleaning jobs among themselves, which usually gives a lot of tension. House friends are forbidden to sleep during the day (except unhealthy) - Big Brother plays a continuous wake-up call in the morning if housemates do not wake up and will play alarm clocks into the house if housemates fall asleep during the day. House friends should also live by the basic rules of Big Brother; if the rules were broken, could lead to official warnings, punishments, or even the removal of family members from the DPR. They had to wash their own clothes by hand, and they had to make their own bread from scratch. Each week, Big Brother assigns Housemates the task of determining the budget for the next week. They must work together to win the task of winning a luxury budget that is changed based on the number of people left at home. If all the food is exhausted at Home, Big Brother provides beans and emergency rice rations. House friends are responsible for their own spending and decide which items will allow the budget to own. Only a fraction of the overall budget can be spent on alcohol. Every night, housemates are also given a discussion topic, and they will hold group discussions in the living room.
Similar to Big Brother 2 , this series features a twist in the format in an effort to keep the series interesting. On the first night, it was revealed that all the Housemates were nominated for eviction, and the public then began choosing who they wanted to see leaving home. He later revealed that two Housemates with the highest number of eviction votes will be nominated for eviction, and that their friend's friend would choose to evict one of them. This resulted in the first eviction of the season occurred on Day 8, the first time the expulsion occurred at the beginning of this series. Another change in the format of this season is the addition of the Rich and Poor sides of the house, where one side will show more benefits and luxuries than others. This season also started using a "strike" system, where housemates were allowed to have only three strikes before they were removed from the series.
Housemates
Summary
On Day 1, Housemates Alex, Jonny, Lee, PJ, Sandy, Spencer, Adele, Alison, Jade, Kate, Lynne and Sunita entered the house, with people coming in first. During the opening night, host Davina McCall revealed that the public would vote for their least favorite Housemates, and the two people with the most votes would make an expulsion that week. However, since the public decides on nominations, Housemates themselves must choose which ones will be displaced by the nominees. The Housemates received no official duty during their first week at home, and were given money for their budget by Big Brother. On Day 5, housemates are told to paint every one of the dining room chairs they want. That night, Sunita reveals to Kate that she is arguing running off the game, with Kate trying to talk to him out of it. Sunita voluntarily leaves home on Day 7. On the same day, Lee celebrates her 22nd birthday at home, and Big Brother provides housemates with a wrestling-themed party. On Day 8, Davina revealed that there were a total of 1.2 million votes for whom the public wanted to see nominated for eviction this week. That night, housemates learned of the change, and were later told that Jade and Lynne had received the most votes and were nominated for evictions. They were then sent to the bedroom away from other Housemates, with nine Housemates voting over who they wanted to leave home. In the end, Housemates unanimously chose to oust Lynne, making her the first Housemate expelled this season.
On Day 9, housemates participated in the first direct task of the season as part of the Saturday Night Live spin-off series. For their first direct assignment, they should take a general knowledge quiz to win their budget for a week. Failure to win a job leads to no budget at all that week, and they will be required to use basic rations like rice and vegetables provided by Big Brother. To succeed, housemates are asked to answer seven out of ten questions correctly. The group successfully completed the task, getting eight out of ten right questions. On the same day, both Alison and Kate were reprimanded for discussing the nominees. Sophie enters the house on Day 10, replacing former Housemate Sunita. That night, Big Brother allowed them to choose the style of dinner they would provide that night; they chose China. On the 11th day, housemates participated in the first round of their nominations. Sophie, as a new Housemate, was unable to participate in the nomination process, and was not allowed to nominate or nominate. Because the tie, Alex, Alison, and Sandy are all nominated for eviction. Alex received the most nominations with six, while Alison and Sandy both had four. PJ, Adele, Spencer, and Lee all did not receive nominations from their roommates this week. On the 13th day, Jade celebrated his 21st birthday at home. She was given the option of having a party or receiving a video message from her mother. She emotionally chose to take over the party. On Day 15, it was revealed that Alison had become the second person to be driven out of the house this season, receiving 39% of the public vote. He also revealed that there are only a few more than a thousand votes among him an Alex, the closest eviction margin in the series to date.
On Day 16, housemates participate in a direct task to determine which Housemates will be on the Rich side and which are Poor. For their duties, housemates have to take turns trying to shoot basketball through a circle. The first five housemates who scored will live on the rich side. These housemates are Jonny, Kate, Lee, Sophie, and Sandy. The remaining housemates - Adele, Alex, Jade, PJ and Spencer - will stay on the poor side. House friends on the poor side will live off the basic ration and will only use the toilet and shower outside. On the rich side, housemates will have a large budget, pool and toilet facilities inside. On Day 17, Housemates celebrate Sophie's 25th birthday, and throw a party tonight. On the 17th day, Kate and Spencer were scolded for sharing kisses across the border. When Kate gave her a beer through the kiss, Big Brother forced her to confiscate six cans of beer from the fridge as punishment. On Day 18, housemates participated in the second round of nominations. Jonny and Lee are nominations this week, after the two receive five votes from their fellow roommates. All the housemates on the poor side are nominated roommates on the rich side. Housemates Adele, PJ, and Spencer did not receive nominations this week. On the 19th day, Sandy revealed that she would leave the house the next night. But the next morning, he climbed the wall in the backyard and escaped from the house. Later that day, Kate and Spencer received their first official attack at home for crossing the line. On the 22nd day, Lee became the third house friend to be driven from home, after receiving 84% of the public vote against Jonny.
On Day 23, housemates participated in their third live assignment. To determine which Housemates will stay on which side of the house, the group must alternately throw an arrow to the dartboard. Housemates with the best score at the end of the task will choose three Housemates to join them on the Rich side of the house. Alex is the task winner, and chooses Adele, Jade, and Sophie to be on the Rich side of the house. This means that the others are on the Poor side of the house. On the 24th day, Tim's new housemate entered the house as Sandy's successor. Due to the split at home, the Housemates had to decide among themselves whether he should live on either the Rich or Poor side; they chose the Rich side. To celebrate his coming into the house, the housemates were given dinner and a movie that night. On Day 25, housemates participate in their third group of nominees. Jade was barred from nominating this week, as Big Brother repeatedly scolded him for discussions passing nominations; he can still be nominated for eviction. The team was released from the nomination process as well, as he was a new housemate. This week saw Alex and Spencer nominated for expulsion, with both receiving four nominations from their fellow roommates. Adele, Jonny, and Kate do not receive nominations from their housemates this week; this is the third time Adele has avoided nominations. On the 26th day, after performing an allegation with Adele, Jade tells Sister that she wants to go; he finally changed his mind. Jonny received an attack on Day 29, as it crossed the line. On Day 29, it was revealed that Spencer was expelled from home, having received 55% of the public vote.
On Day 30, housemates participate in their fourth duty of life to determine how their housemates will be separated this week. They play the game of music chairs in Kaya's bedroom, with one Housemate removed each round. The last remaining housemates will choose three Housemates to join them on the Rich side of the house. For the second week in a row, Alex is the task winner, and picks Adele, Jade, and PJ to join him on the Rich side of the house. On Day 31, Jade received his first official strike to discuss the nomination with Adele. This is one of the many penalties Jade handed down to discuss the nomination, as he had received five official warnings before and was even barred from making nominations the week before. On Day 32, Housemates participated in their fourth round of nominations. This week saw Sophie and Jonny nominated for eviction, with Jonny receiving four nominations and Sophie receiving three. This is the first week in which each Housemate receives one or more nominations from their fellow roommates. This is also the first week Adele has been nominated, having received a nomination from his fellow roommates. On the same day, they were given a new assignment where they had to learn two dances the next night, get a garden party if they succeeded; the group passed the task. On Day 36, Sophie was expelled from home, having received 85% of the public vote against Jonny.
On Day 37, Housemates were given the opportunity to take part and become one again. During their fifth weekly assignment, they were given "Memory Quiz" where each of them was asked about the house in the Diary Room. They were told that if they all answered their questions correctly, the divisions would be lowered. Kate and Tim are the only housemates who successfully complete the task. Nonetheless, however, Big Brother gave them a second chance to take the divide down. Kate enters the Diary Room and is told that if she can name all Housemates in alphabetical order then the division will be removed; Failure will result in Kate being moved to the Poor side as well. In the end, Kate forgot to mention Alison and Lynne and thus failed the task. This made Tim his only roommate on the Rich side of the house, causing much controversy among the group. On Day 39, housemates participated in their fifth round of nominations. The result sees Adele, Jade, Jonny, and Kate nominated for eviction. PJ is the only housemate this week to receive a nomination from his roommate. This week, Adele received two nominations, making it the most he has ever received in a week, and only the second week he has been nominated in the game. This week, Housemates were given the task of making a sock puppet to represent the fourteen Housemates that appeared on Big Brother 3. Adele became the sixth expelled Housemate on Day 43, after receiving 62% of the public vote.
On the 44th day, the in-house division was officially removed, and the "Rich & amp; Poor" round ended. That same night, they learned that they had to choose two Housemates to be given video messages from home. Instead, two elected Housemates will be nominated for the expulsion that week, and the nomination on Monday will be canceled. Finally failing to make a decision, the group chose to draw a straw, so Kate and PJ were chosen. This means that they will receive their message, and will face the public vote that week. On Day 45, Tim was reprimanded by Big Brother for stealing two bottles of alcohol. On Day 47, Housemates were given a new assignment, known as "Master and Slave," in which one Housemate would become master and the other would be a slave; the next day, the role is reversed. You can ask slaves to do anything for them, with slaves to obey. After this assignment, Housemates had to choose a Housemate that they felt best to play the role of slave; they chose Kate. Kate's prize to choose from is she received thirty minutes of music played for her in the Daily Room. On Day 50, it was revealed that PJ had been expelled from home, having received 81% of the public vote.
On the 51st day, housemates are given a quiz about each other as part of their weekly duties. Each Housemate is separately called into the Daily Room to answer three questions about their friend's roommate. All questions are based on the answers given in their application form. For each correct answer, Housemates get Ã, à £ 25 for their budget and five seconds added to a phone call with a loved one, to be received by a Housemate. After the task, the group has earned a total of £ 200 for their budget, and gives Tim with a call from home. On the 53rd day, housemates start their new assignment, where there is a disco roller theme. The second bedroom has been converted into a disco roller, and Housemates has three minutes to wear roller blades and pads and climbs to the floor whenever a buzzer sounds. If a Housemate fails to achieve this, it will count as "not showing up," and three strikes will mean that housemates have failed the task. The group then passes the assignment, and gets a 70-themed party as a gift. On Day 53, housemates participated in the last round of their nominations. Team and Alex both received three nominations each, and were nominated for eviction. Kate is the only housemate who does not receive nominations this week, while Jade and Jonny receive two each. This ensures Jade, Jonny, and Kate become the place at the end of the season. On day 57, Tim was expelled from home, having received 81% of the public vote against Alex.
On the 57th day, housemates were given their last weekly shopping assignment. The first part of the task is the obstacle they have to finish with their eyes closed. For the second part of the task, the Housemates have to bet some of their money, on the egg race and spoon, and will bid one of their roommates to win the race. They were shown Spencer, PJ, Lee and Sophie's racing videos, and had to bet which of these Housemates they felt would win; they chose to bet on Sophie, who won the race. On day 58, Kate was rebuked by Big Brother for writing a birthday message to her sister, using make-up. On Day 64, it was revealed that Jade had received 20% of the public vote, and had been expelled from home in fourth place. Alex was later evicted in third place, receiving 27% of the public vote. Jonny was later crowned Runner-Up with 42%, while Kate was named the Winner with 58%. This made Kate Housemate the first woman to win the series; Jonny left the house that day, followed by Kate a few minutes later.

Controversy and criticism
Just like the two previous editions of the series, Big Brother 3 have controversial moments and problems as well. The main problem this season is with Housemates voluntarily choosing to leave the game. On Day 7, Housemate Sunita chose to walk from the game, stating that she "feels claustrophobic" and the show has effectively uprooted their contestants' rights. Housemate Sandy decided to run from the game on the 20th day. Despite agreeing to leave that night through the door, he then climbs the wall in the backyard and runs away from home. In his decision to walk, Sandy stated, "I went to the show without prejudice, I did what I thought was right and left when I felt right to leave." Housemates Lee and Sophie also talk about stopping the series, though none of them. The Rich and Poor Gap causes many problems at home, especially when the Tim's roommates are the only housemates who stay on the Rich side for a week. The other Housemates were annoyed, with PJ then stating that the group had to walk all; However, no housemates left the game because of this problem. Production this season has also been criticized for being overly edited, especially in the case of Housemate Jade Goody. The British newspaper The Sun reported that the insider for the series stated there was "a deliberate act to keep Jade in the house, because he stirred up a lot of things - and to avoid criticism they have turned Jade into a monster. "They also wrote that" [p] the roduser was instructed to dampen their coverage of his antics amid concerns he might be huddled or try to sue when he left the show and learn how viewers see it. " These statements were subsequently rejected by production. This season is also the first to have controversy surrounding sexual intercourse in the series. Although no sexual intercourse took place at home, Housemate Jade then gave Housemate PJ oral sex under the covers, and on the same night, Housemate Sophie was believed to be doing the same thing with Housemate Lee. There is a debate about whether or not to show events that occur in the main episode, eventually they choose to show them.
