Dog & amp; Restaurant The Bar is a casual restaurant, a multi-unit restaurant concept headquartered in Southern California that serves American-made food and drink featuring seasonal-inspired ingredients.
The company was founded in 2003 by Chris Simms, Gabe Caliendo, Steve Price, and Roshan Mendis, with the group that opened the first Lazy Dog restaurant in Huntington Beach, California.
On April 30, 2018, Lazy Dog operates 26 restaurants in four states: California, Nevada, Texas and Colorado.
Lazy Dog is known for its small mountain town atmosphere and atmosphere inspired by Wyoming. The concept is the brain of CEO Chris Simms, who gets inspired by the time spent at his parents' farm near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Simms wants the Lazy Dog to be a place where people, both young and old, can connect and experience the spirit of the mountains while dining in a contemporary rural setting.
Lazy Dog is also known for its dog friendly policy and dog menu, available on the restaurant terrace.
