Treasure Cay , is a plot of land connected to Great Abaco Island in the Bahamas. It has a population of 1,187. (Census 2010)

Here you will find two resorts, condos, villas, and private homes, many of which are rented out. Located within bars, restaurants, shops and bakeries, handmade ceramics shops are made on the premises. There is a large marina that hosts seasonal fishing tournaments, tennis courts and a golf course. The beach is located on the Abaco Sea and has a high ranking regularly among travel magazines.

In the vicinity you can find the Green Ferry Cay Ferry Dock and some interesting explorations in the Blue Hole near the pine hill.

History

The Carleton Point Settlement, named after Sir Guy Carleton, was founded in 1783 at the northern end of Sand Banks Cay by about 600 Loyalists who fled the United States after the Revolution. A hurricane struck in 1785, and the settlement was abandoned
