Plot
Sisko meets Ezri, the new host of the Dax symbiont, before leaving Earth for planet Tyree with his father, Joseph, and Jake's son. Ezri wants to accompany them in their search for the Bajor myth of the Messenger, which Sisko has trusted to believe. Back at the station, Kira prepares a blockade to stop Romulan, who has placed weapons on Bajoran moon. On the Klingon ship, Worf, O'Brien, Bashir, and Quark begin their own mission: to destroy Dominion shipyard, thus securing a place for the spirit of deceased Worf's wife Jadzia in the holy Klingon hereafter from Sto-Vo-Kor.
Sisko and his crew arrived at Tyree. Guided by his vision, they embarked on a long journey across the vast wilderness. Finally, Sisko stopped and looked for something strange, while his father, son, and Ezri could only watch.
I determined the blockade with old Bajoran ships, and fourteen Romulan wars came earlier. Both Kira and Romulan are unwilling to retreat.
Returning to the Klingon ship, Worf, after reaching the star system where the shipyard is, mastermind a plan in which the ship will fly towards the sun and trigger a throwing plasma that will destroy Dominion's facility and illuminate the Sto-vo-kor gate for Jadzia. The plan seems to fail when they can not trigger plasma expenditure.
On Tyree, Sisko's excavations reveal an Orb ark, but Benny Russell's dangerous vision causes him to hesitate to expose the Orb inside. Sisko's vision caused him to question his faith, and hurriedly buried the ark containing Orb without opening it. Sisko overcame his doubt in his vision, and Ezri forces Sisko to open the ark. But when he does so, a vortex of energy is released which opens the wormhole and drives it out of Pah-wraith - the enemies of the Prophets - who sealed the anomaly. His mission was successful, Sisko found what appeared to be his dead mother, Sarah. After praising him, he reveals that he is one of the worm's aliens, who joined the woman's body many years ago to ensure Sisko's birth and the fulfillment of his destiny.
With the prophets freed and the wormhole open, the course of the war shifts. Worf and his colleagues successfully execute their plan and destroy the shipyard - a victory that eventually allows for Jadzia's entry into Sto-vo-kor. At the same time, Kira managed to get Romulan back.
After that when Tyree's team returned to Deep Space Nine, the Bajorans praised Sisko for reopening the wormhole - Temple of the Prophets. His crew welcomed him back, and were bewildered at the arrival of Ezri Dax.
